About the role
- Senior Consultant managing cybersecurity improvements for industrial facilities in the IT/OT sector in Germany. Leading teams and developing security measures for clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and support clients in improving their cybersecurity across IT/OT environments
- Advise clients on protecting industrial facilities through the application of Industrial Control Systems
- Raise client awareness of information security in the IT/OT context and develop actionable measures
- Contribute ideas and recommendations on cross-cutting topics (e.g., data protection, operational organization, service management) to further develop our consulting offerings
Requirements
- Technical training or university degree with several years of practical experience in fields such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical computer science, mechanical engineering, embedded systems, or a comparable professional qualification
- Several years of experience in the IT-OT environment with hands-on exposure to industrial facilities
- Practical experience with industrial control systems (SPS/PLC, SCADA, HMI)
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, PROFINET, Modbus) and the IEC 62443 standard
- Familiarity with vendors (Siemens or Rockwell Automation) and experience with OT monitoring or asset-discovery solutions
