About the role
- Senior Consultant specializing in IT/OT security consulting, leading teams to enhance cyber security for industrial clients. Providing strategies and support for securing industrial facilities and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and support clients in improving their cybersecurity across IT/OT environments
- Support clients in protecting industrial facilities by securing Industrial Control Systems
- Raise client awareness of information security in the IT/OT context and develop appropriate measures
- Contribute ideas and recommendations on interface topics (e.g., data protection/privacy, operational organization, service management) to further develop our consulting services
Requirements
- Technical vocational training or a university degree with several years of practical experience in disciplines such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical computer science, mechanical engineering, embedded systems, or a comparable professional qualification
- Several years of experience in the IT/OT environment with hands-on exposure to industrial facilities
- Practical experience with industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI)
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, PROFINET, Modbus) and the IEC 62443 standard
- Advantageous: vendor-specific knowledge (e.g., Siemens or Rockwell Automation) and experience with OT monitoring or asset-discovery solutions
