About the role
- Consultant for IT Security conducting technical audits and developing security strategies. Collaborating on Cyber Security topics and supporting organizations with compliance and incident management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical security audits, evaluate current security measures and produce reports with recommendations for improvement based on established best practices and professional experience
- Develop tailored security strategies and concepts — remotely and on-site
- Advise on cyber security topics such as network security, cloud computing, identity and access management (IAM), detection and response (EDR/XDR/SIEM/SOC), virtualization, and more
- Support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, DORA
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in administration or IT security, e.g., at an IT service provider or in consulting, and an interest in technical documentation — motivation is key
- Experience operating Linux and Windows systems, cloud, virtualization or container technologies, or network infrastructures
- Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills in German
