About the role

Responsibilities
- Investigate networks, systems, and applications to proactively identify vulnerabilities.
- Support during cyber incidents, including mitigation and forensic analysis.
- Actively contribute to cloud security initiatives or projects involving critical infrastructure (KRITIS).
- Support projects from requirements analysis through implementation, including presenting results.
Requirements
- Professional experience in the IT field (e.g., administration, development, networks, or IT coordination) and a curiosity to test current tools, technologies, and unconventional approaches.
- Broad technical knowledge across multiple areas (e.g., how networks operate, fundamentals of operating systems, cloud, Active Directory, databases, web technologies).
- Enthusiasm for IT security and initial project experience (e.g., developing security concepts, hardening systems or network components, working as DevSecOps, or in security administration).
- Experience in clearly presenting technically complex topics in reports and presentations in German.
