About the role
- Security Consultant focusing on safeguarding business processes and responding to IT incidents. Collaborating with clients to enhance their security posture through practical solutions and awareness training.
Responsibilities
- Learn to identify vulnerabilities and help clients improve security through IT emergency concepts, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies—both on-site and remotely
- Participate in security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud
- Support our clients in ensuring their operational resilience
- Raise clients' emergency awareness through awareness workshops, IT emergency exercises, as well as switch‑over and functional tests
- Gain insight into related areas such as information security and third‑party risk management
Requirements
- Practical experience in system integration, e.g., administration of data centers or in IT services at a systems integrator, or alternatively a degree in IT, e.g., (Business) Informatics, Cyber Security Management or similar
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations and initial experience in IT emergency management or with ITIL‑compliant operational processes
- Motivation to work on complex topics, pragmatic problem‑solving skills and a confident presence
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German
