About the role

• IT Consultant ensuring the smooth operation of Linux-based infrastructure for a growing consulting company in IT management and security. Involves responsibilities like network configuration, security patching, and customer IT support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of Linux-based infrastructure
• Configure and maintain networks, server services, and storage systems
• Implement security measures and manage patching
• Advance automation of operational processes using IaC, e.g., with Ansible or shell scripts
• Support our clients during IT security incidents with technical expertise, e.g., log analysis, system isolation, or system restarts

Requirements

• Professional experience in system integration or Linux administration — motivation is more important than perfection
• Basic knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and containerization
• Team player, especially when collaborating with other technical roles
• Careful and pragmatic approach in emergency situations
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
