About the role
- Consultant IT Infrastruktur / Linux responsible for managing networks, server services, and security measures. Supporting customers in IT security incidents with technical know-how in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of Linux-based infrastructure
- Configure and maintain networks, server services and storage systems
- Implement security measures and manage patching
- Advance automation of operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), e.g., with Ansible or shell scripts
- Support our customers during IT security incidents with technical expertise, e.g. log analysis, system isolation or system restarts
Requirements
- Professional experience in system integration or Linux administration — motivation is the key
- Basic knowledge of Terraform, Ansible and containerization
- Ability to work well in a team, especially when collaborating with other technical roles
- Careful and pragmatic approach in emergency situations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
