About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing ground support equipment projects at HiSERV, ensuring timely and quality delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, managing and successfully delivering strategic and operational projects.
  • Creating and maintaining clear project plans, including milestones, dependencies and risks.
  • Establishing structured governance processes (steering committees, status meetings, reporting).
  • Leading cross-functional teams within HiSERV and coordinating external partners.
  • Continuous progress monitoring, reporting and presentation of results.
  • Acting as the central interface between project teams, management and operational units.
  • Ensuring that all project deliverables meet defined quality standards.
  • Conducting lessons-learned sessions and final project reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, IT or a comparable field.
  • Several years of project management experience in an international or cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with project management standards (PMI/PMBOK, PRINCE2) and the full project life cycle.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple parallel projects.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and confident stakeholder management.
  • Experience in negotiation and supplier/vendor management.
  • Intercultural competence and the ability to connect teams across different countries.
  • Independent, proactive working style with a strong track record of delivery.
  • Experience in budgeting and resource planning.
  • Proficient MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
