Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop a Winning Team: You will recruit, manage, and mentor a team of product analysts, fostering their professional growth and creating a productive, high-morale environment. You will own the team's shared roadmap, allocating analysts to the highest-impact initiatives based on business priorities.
  • Champion an AI-Powered Operating Model: You will spearhead the adoption of AI within our analytical workflows. Your focus will be on leveraging AI to automate routine tasks and create scalable self-service solutions for the organization, thereby freeing up your team's expert capacity for tackling the most complex, strategic business challenges and pioneering the AI discovery.
  • Define and Drive Analytical Strategy: You will own and shape business-critical analytical initiatives that accelerate our product strategy. As part of the product leadership you define your domain's long-term analytical vision and roadmap, moving beyond stakeholder requests to proactively identify and solve the most important business needs.
  • Evolve the Analytical Operating Model: You will guide the team through a strategic transition, shifting focus from reactive, ad-hoc requests to proactive, high-impact analysis. You will champion the development of scalable self-service solutions that empower the product organization, freeing up your team's capacity for the most complex and strategic analytical challenges.
  • Own Analytical Quality and Impact: You will be accountable for the quality and business impact of your team's entire output. This includes upholding high standards for experimentation and statistical rigor, ensuring data models and dashboards are built to last, and managing strategic stakeholders end-to-end to ensure insights translate directly into action.
  • Elevate our Data Infrastructure: You will guide the team in owning and improving critical parts of our analytics stack, including experimentation, reporting and data transformation models. You will ensure the team's work on tracking, instrumentation and data quality contributes to a reliable and scalable data foundation.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in data analysis and a proven track record of leading complex, interdisciplinary analytical projects from inception to business impact.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role, with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing teams.
  • A strong vision for the future of analytics, with experience or a deep interest in leveraging automation, advanced tooling, and AI to scale an analytics function and maximize its business impact.
  • Deep expertise in SQL and the modern data stack, including hands-on experience with dbt and data visualization tools like Tableau. Claude Code experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong, practical expertise in experimentation, including hypothesis formation, metric selection, and statistical evaluation. You know how to design and interpret A/B tests with high statistical rigor.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate business needs into an analytical roadmap and communicate complex findings clearly and effectively.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to think beyond execution, connecting analytical work to company-level objectives and proactively identifying opportunities for impact.
  • Fluent in German & English
