About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer at Hiive connecting buyers and sellers in pre-IPO companies. Collaborate on optimizations, security, and CI/CD processes for high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to improve system efficiency.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable releases.
• Ensuring platform reliability by proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborating with product engineers to improve infrastructure and developer experience.

Requirements

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), in particular with strong proficiency in EKS, RDS, and VPC.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency in building Infrastructure as Code configuration with Terraform.
• Experience building performant CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with incident response and on-call rotation processes (preferred).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting (preferred).
• Understanding of Postgres database design and optimization (preferred).
• Experience with SOC2 or similar certifications (preferred).
• Experience working with Vercel and/or Cloudflare (preferred).
