Responsibilities
Performs engineering functions in mechanical and or HVAC Piping onboard US Naval Ships
Design and develop engineering solutions to meet project requirements and specifications
Conduct detailed analyses, simulations, and tests to validate design concepts and ensure system performance
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate systems and optimize processes
Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations
Identify and troubleshoot engineering challenges, proposing effective solutions in a timely manner
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes
Requirements
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
Candidate must have design experience in a mechanical field, Piping and or HVAC on US Navy ships
Candidate must have shipboard experience
Candidate must have experience in writing engineering reports and or design recommendations
Candidate must have experience performing ship checks on US Navy ships
Candidate must be willing to Travel as required (approximately 25% or more travel time)
