About the role

  • Lead Program Cost Control Analyst at HII managing complex government contracts and supporting high-stakes missions in cyber operations. Overseeing financial performance in advancing defense technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of six Project Control Analysts managing a massive portfolio exceeding $140M in annual revenue
  • Mastermind the development of EVMS-Lite cost/schedule integration and baseline management to ensure mission success
  • Partner directly with Program Managers and CAMS to navigate diverse contract types
  • Identify root causes of variances, drive action plans, and prepare Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMDAR)
  • Shape the next generation of financial professionals by coaching analysts on EVMS best practices and Deltek Costpoint mastery
  • Prepare and submit Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Reports (IPMDAR/IPMR)
  • Develop and maintain time-phased budgets, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and financial forecasts
  • Monitor inventory transactions, usage variances, and work order completions

Requirements

  • 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
  • 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with EVMS implementation and analysis in a government contracting environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Deltek Costpoint, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling
  • Strong working knowledge of federal contracts, including task order management and cost tracking
  • Solid understanding of funding allocation, billing cycles, and financial deliverables
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong background working with government contract types: FFP, FPI, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, and hybrid contracts
  • Ability to qualify for a US level Secret clearance
