About the role
- Integration Engineering Project Lead managing complex modeling & simulation systems at HII. Leading technical integration and hands-on engineering support across distributed environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration activities across networking, software, and systems engineering teams, ensuring alignment with technical, schedule, and mission objectives.
- Delegate technical tasks, manage priorities, and coordinate multi-site engineering efforts to maintain interoperability across distributed systems.
- Serve as a primary interface with government stakeholders, program leadership, and partner organizations, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Provide hands-on support for networking, system configuration, troubleshooting, and software integration tasks when required.
- Support integration of JSE-based simulators, NGTS, GRID, and other synthetic environment components.
Requirements
- 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field
- 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate
- 13 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience leading technical teams or managing engineering-focused projects.
- Broad understanding of systems integration, networking, and software development environments.
- Familiarity with distributed Modeling & Simulation environments, LVC systems, or DoD test/training architectures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills, including government interaction.
