About the role

  • Independently carry out ongoing financial bookkeeping, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
  • Manage payment transactions, cash and bank accounting
  • Process travel expense claims
  • Perform regular account reconciliations and monitor outstanding items
  • Prepare VAT returns and statistical reports
  • Assist with year-end financial statements and prepare monthly reports

Requirements

  • Completed training as an accountant or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME)
  • Confident use of common accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision) and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Willingness to take initiative and a strong team player
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
