Independently carry out ongoing financial bookkeeping, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
Manage payment transactions, cash and bank accounting
Process travel expense claims
Perform regular account reconciliations and monitor outstanding items
Prepare VAT returns and statistical reports
Assist with year-end financial statements and prepare monthly reports
Requirements
Completed training as an accountant or an equivalent qualification
At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME)
Confident use of common accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision) and MS Office, particularly Excel
Independent and reliable working style
Willingness to take initiative and a strong team player
Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
