About the role
- GIS Data Engineer supporting the development and maintenance of GIS data pipelines and spatial datasets for HERE's geospatial platforms. Collaborating with teams to ensure clean and reliable data outputs.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of GIS data pipelines and spatial datasets
- Perform geoprocessing tasks using ArcGIS Pro, ArcPy, and FME Form
- Assist in network data modeling and routing analysis using ArcGIS Network Analyst
- Conduct spatial data validation, topology checks, and quality assurance
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to deliver clean, reliable GIS data
- Apply working knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise and related tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Proficient in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Form, ArcGIS Network Analyst, ArcPy, and knowledge of network data types
- Knowledgeable about ArcGIS Project (APRX) structure and layer management
- Skilled in creating automated QA pipelines, custom validation tools, and managing multi-format geospatial datasets with coordinate system and projection handling
- Familiar with spatial data formats and geoprocessing techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
