Responsibilities
- Reviewing business processes to gain a complete understanding of current business and system processes
- Identifying improvements and documenting those improvements as business requirements (Features and User stories)
- Working interdepartmentally and communicating to leadership to ensure deliverables are met
- Defining and eliciting business requirements for assigned project or company initiatives
- Communicating departmentally and interdepartmentally to recommend and request new concepts and/or modifications to existing workflow, system set up, tools and designs
- Collaborating with business units to understand strategic goals and promote an environment conducive to creativity, change and information exchange
- Creating documentation for business processes and collaborating with teams to share knowledge
- Working directly and independently with appropriate members of the department and other Healthfirst business units to understand project concepts, objectives, and approach
- Analyzing various types of data and processes to root cause, trend, and summarize findings
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- 2 – 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experiencing defining and eliciting business requirements
- Experience working with Agile in a delivery model
- Experience identifying, documenting, and communicating business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and work with independence and initiative as well as strong ability to work closely as a team member
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting functionality (pivot tables, graphs, v-lookup, etc.)
