Responsibilities
You act as the central interface connecting technical expertise with business vision.
You coach and develop the Tech Leads and their teams (currently approx. 60 people), ensuring everyone can reach their full potential.
In close collaboration with the Tech Leads, you define the technical strategy, architecture standards and tool landscape for the entire company.
You optimize and establish efficient processes across teamwork, agile methodologies, quality assurance and CI/CD to sustainably increase productivity.
You are responsible for strategic resource planning, project allocation and monitoring in close coordination with Project Management and Executive Management.
You actively shape the entire recruiting and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
You take ownership of budget planning and reporting of relevant KPIs (e.g. utilization, forecasts) to the executive team.
Requirements
Several years of relevant leadership experience in a comparable Lead or Head-of-Engineering role, ideally in an agency or consulting environment.
Deep, solid understanding of modern software development, architectural principles and agile project delivery.
Proven track record in team development and team building (recruiting, performance reviews).
Confident handling of budget planning, controlling and reporting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as an interface between Executive Management, HR, Sales and development teams.
Strategic vision, a drive to lead change and a passion for optimizing processes (hands-on mentality).
