About the role

  • Electrical Engineer specializing in high voltage and substation projects for EPC firm. Leading engineering efforts in various U.S. locations with opportunities for hybrid and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • support power and substation projects
  • lead and support the engineering of substation design
  • design and execute high voltage systems for EPC projects
  • work on complex power infrastructure projects
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, design, and project management

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in substation physical design
  • Proven experience with high-voltage systems up to 345kV
  • Strong document management, organization, and quality control skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Software Experience: AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical, Bentley MicroStation, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, ASPEN OneLiner, CYMCAP, PLS-CADD (or similar transmission line analysis software), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
