About the role
- Microsoft Azure Administrator for cloud strategy and service migration from AWS and GCP to Azure. Collaborating on cloud infrastructure optimization and providing internal support on cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for the administration and further development of our Microsoft Azure environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a long-term cloud strategy
- Migrate existing services from AWS and GCP into the Microsoft Azure environment
- Analyze and assess new requirements for technical and economic feasibility
- Automate and optimize processes within the cloud environment
- Implement security standards as well as monitoring and troubleshooting in the cloud infrastructure
- Advise and support internal departments in the use of cloud technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), a degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience administering Microsoft Azure or a comparable cloud platform
- Experience migrating cloud services (AWS, GCP) to Microsoft Azure is desirable
- Deep knowledge of planning, implementing, and administering cloud infrastructures
- Experience automating processes (e.g., using PowerShell or Azure CLI)
- Knowledge of implementing and applying security standards in the cloud
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
- Enjoy working in a team and communicating with various stakeholders
- Good written and spoken German and English
