About the role

Responsibilities
- The aim of this thesis is to examine the technical, organizational and regulatory prerequisites for integrating Agentic AI and chatbot systems into a tax-regulatory software environment.
- You will analyze which compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, banking supervisory regulations) must be met to ensure the secure use of AI in the financial services environment.
- You will also evaluate different operational and licensing models for AI systems — from commercial offerings to building in-house AI solutions.
- Your work will provide a sound basis for decision-making regarding the long-term AI strategy in the product context.
Requirements
- Analyze the regulatory and technical framework conditions for the use of Agentic AI and chatbots in withholding tax processing
- Identify and assess compliance requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001, banking supervisory regulations)
- Investigate operational models (e.g., cloud-based, on-premise, hybrid) and licensing options (commercial models vs. in-house development)
- Develop a concept that ensures human users retain final decision-making authority
- Strong spoken and written German and English skills
