About the role

Responsibilities
- End-to-end AI development: designing, implementing and deploying core AI systems that drive our product
- Technical ownership: defining the technical architecture and making key decisions on infrastructure, frameworks and tools
- Collaboration with the founders: close alignment with the founding team to connect technical priorities with product and business strategy
- Scalability & reliability: ensuring systems are scalable, compliant and performant in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of experience delivering software in production (ideally Python, TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, Docker, Azure)
- Expertise in AI engineering (e.g., Conversational AI, agentic AI, RAG, data pipelines)
- Experience with cloud-native development and architecture
- Ability to design architectures and bring complex code to production
- Entrepreneurial spirit: willingness to take responsibility, build things from 0 → 1 and make pragmatic decisions
- Minimum B2 German language proficiency
- Nice to have: customer focus, experience with Voice AI or Voice AI agents, GovTech experience (startup or enterprise)
