About the role
- HPE HPC & AI Systems Engineer developing and testing software for integrated systems at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States. Collaborating with global teams on HPC solutions and certification processes.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products
- Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design
- Works with Program & Product Management teams to understand test requirements
- Debugs and troubleshoots issues with various teams
- Works with cross-functional teams to deliver quality HPC systems
- Drives appropriate automated test execution to test engineers at various global locations
- Provides training and guidance to test teams both onshore and offshore
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Possess experience with EX, XD, Apollo, Industry Standard Server, Storage, and Networking products
- Have experience with certification of major Operating Systems (OS) such as Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE, etc.)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- Experience installing and working with Linux, Windows and VMWare OSes
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Linux Shell, Java, MySQL, MS SQL Server is a plus
- Experience in configuring Storage (internal/external storage, file systems, and raid/non-raid settings) and Networking devices (iSCSI, FCoE, IPs, VLANs, Bonding, Jumbo Frames, LAGs)
