About the role
- Engineering Program Manager overseeing R&D programs in High-Performance Computing & AI at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Delivering initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages project controls for key R & D programs on the product roadmap
- Ensures that product development initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Works cross-functionally with engineering, product management, product lifecycle management, quality, finance, and operations teams
- Establishes project plans, monitors progress, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies
- Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities
- Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance and provides tangible feedback
- Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- PMP/PMI certification preferred
- Typically 10+ years' experience
- Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy
- History of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels.
