About the role

  • Engineering Program Manager overseeing R&D programs in High-Performance Computing & AI at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Delivering initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages project controls for key R & D programs on the product roadmap
  • Ensures that product development initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Works cross-functionally with engineering, product management, product lifecycle management, quality, finance, and operations teams
  • Establishes project plans, monitors progress, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities
  • Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance and provides tangible feedback
  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred
  • Typically 10+ years' experience
  • Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels.
