About the role
- Senior Cloud Platform & DevOps Engineer enhancing Azure platforms for GELSENWASSER Energienetze GmbH. Focused on CI/CD, automation, and collaboration with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical sparring partner for our operations partner in the continued development of our Azure platform
- Enhance existing Azure Landing Zones (Cloud Adoption Framework) using Terraform
- Build and maintain a consistently automated platform with reproducible, versioned and standardized policies and deployments
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for Azure, Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric
- Establish logging, metrics and alerts to ensure operational stability and quality
- Advise and support teams with a focus on simple, secure and user-friendly development platforms
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience in Azure and DevOps environments
- Strong understanding of platform, automation and CI/CD concepts
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, pipelines and scripting within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly—both internally and externally
- Self-directed working style, a drive to shape solutions, and enjoyment of hands-on work
