About the role
- Principal Product Manager driving product innovation and customer insights for small businesses at Gusto. Leading product development team to unlock savings through tax credits and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of a product & business aimed at unlocking value for existing Gusto customers as well as expanding Gusto’s customer base to new segments
- Unlocking savings for SMBs through tax credits
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Ops and Data Science on all stages of the product development process
- Run lean experiments and A/B tests to quickly prove out hypotheses and test new concepts.
- Create a long-term vision and strategy that defines the big problems we can solve well with a durable competitive advantage
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Product Management experience or 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven track record of building 0 to 1 products
- Strong product discovery skills and analytical skills

- The ability to tell a compelling story that drives alignment and inspires action
- Strong collaboration skills; ability to quickly build trust quickly
