- Database Migration Engineer facilitating migrations of customer databases to Guidewire’s Cloud Platform. Involves optimization, data validation, and tooling development in a hybrid role.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with database engineering, including 2+ year data migration
- Deep knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
- Database Migration from Oracle and/or SQL Server to Postgres
- Postgres database optimization (query plans, etc)
- One or more cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Data replication tools (MS SQL Server transactional replication, Oracle Golden Gate, AWS DMS, etc)
- UNIX general administration skills, including scripting with bash, python etc
- ANSI SQL Language
- Network connectivity and troubleshooting
- Speak your mind and defend ideas based on merit, yet humility and hunger to learn from others
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
