About the role

• Lead Automation Test Engineer responsible for implementing automated testing frameworks. Collaborate across departments to drive quality initiatives at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-level automated testing frameworks using Tricentis Tosca and other tools.
• Define and enforce best practices for test automation, code quality, and test data management.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers, and provide technical leadership.
• Analyze test coverage, identify gaps, and implement strategies to improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Partner with product and development teams to define test strategies for complex features and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tricentis Tosca, including test case design, test data management, and API testing.
• Strong experience with additional tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proven experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Optional Certifications (Preferred but not required): Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1, 2, and Test Design Specialist; ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level; Test Automation Engineer; Certified Agile Test Leader (CATL); Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional; Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)
