About the role
- Leader Industrial Engineering at GROHE in Hemer shaping engineering processes and team management. Driving cost improvements and automating production processes in a global context.
Responsibilities
- Targeted implementation of group-wide standards at the Hemer site for processes, procedures, machines, tools and Lean Management
- Planning, implementation and follow-up of cost-reduction measures across production processes, coordinating with central departments
- Supporting plant management with the strategic direction of the Hemer site
- Implementing internal automation programs from concept to realization (from robot/cobot pick & place to more complex applications such as inline production lines)
- Executing product development led by central R&D; implementing new products into production up to the start of production (SOP)
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Industrial Engineering team at the Hemer site
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or a comparable academic qualification
- Solid knowledge of metal and, ideally, plastics processes, surface technologies and assembly processes
- Several years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering, ideally in a multi-stage production plant
- Leadership experience, assertiveness and a strong results orientation
- High methodological competence in project management, problem-solving and creativity techniques
- Good communication and presentation skills, and negotiation-level German and English (spoken and written)
- Software and methodological know-how (e.g., PLC) and experience with Industry 4.0 applications (including AI) would be a strong advantage
