Responsibilities
- Design, conceive and develop new products and carry out engineering work up to series production readiness
- Develop new and existing components and assemblies
- Prepare tests, partially conduct them, and evaluate the results
- Create and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using Autodesk AutoCAD Inventor
- Take responsibility for conducting product development and validation tests from planning through evaluation
- Produce development and product documentation such as requirements, test plans, bills of materials, product and component specifications, and manufacturing documentation
- Communicate with suppliers, customers and other internal and external process partners
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Automotive Engineering or a comparable program with a focus on design
- Extensive project and design experience in device development
- Experience with CAD systems (2D/3D), preferably Autodesk AutoCAD Inventor
- Good MS Office skills
- Enthusiasm for innovative solutions
- Communicative and service-oriented
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
