Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory ESG requirements worldwide
- Establish and maintain a system to collect, assess, and report relevant sustainability metrics
- Support external sustainability audits and respond to customer inquiries on ESG-related topics (including third-party supply chain risk assessments)
- Work closely with the Head of Global Quality to further develop and harmonize the integrated management system
- Contribute to the implementation of global quality strategies, standards, and processes
- Support the global quality organization in continuous improvement and process management initiatives
- Analyze and evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and derive sustainable measures
- Assist with global auditing of processes, management systems, and suppliers
- Participate in global projects to advance Operational Excellence initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in a technical field, ideally mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline
- Several years of professional experience in quality management or sustainability management within an internationally operating industrial company, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering
- Solid knowledge of relevant management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and ESG regulation and reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, GRI, EU Taxonomy)
- Experience in continuous improvement (CI), process management, and Operational Excellence methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, VSM); ideally experience with BPMN software
- Strong experience with audit processes
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured and proactive work style
- Proficient English skills; additional languages advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally
