About the role

  • Graduate Electrical Engineer in renewables joining a team at DNV for energy transition projects. Learn from industry experts while directly contributing to sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how projects are developed and financed from an initial concept through to operation
  • Gain a deep insight into onshore and offshore power grids and well as renewable energy systems
  • Take a big picture view on the energy transition and what this means for our customers and their supply chains and what this means for our society and the environment
  • Actively engage with clients to understand their challenges deploying renewable energy generation and storage safely, sustainably and effectively
  • Have the opportunity to work with other discipline teams across DNV to see how we are working together to solve some of the energy industry’s biggest problems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in electrical engineering or related degree
  • Some understanding of Renewables, ideally energy storage or electricity transmission (gained during your studies) would be beneficial
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills along with ability to produce clear and concise technical reports for our customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills, confident in building professional relationships and demonstrating first class written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to plan and prioritise own time and activities, to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives
  • Passion for developing your skills both professionally and personally, including the commitment to complete the appropriate professional registration in your field (Chartership)
