About the role

  • Video Editor responsible for editing corporate training videos in various formats at GP Strategies Corporation. Utilizing Adobe tools and collaborating with designers to deliver high-quality content.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze scripts and understand project requirements to ensure that editing meets defined objectives.
  • Edit corporate training videos in formats such as video lessons, videocasts, interviews, animated videos, photo novels, systemic tutorials, interactive videos, 3D, among others.
  • Use Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and/or DaVinci Resolve tools, applying advanced editing techniques to create high-quality content.
  • Develop animations with illustrations and/or vectors, incorporating graphic elements that enrich the visual content.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers for image manipulation, vectors, and layout, effectively integrating these elements into the videos.
  • Ensure that all materials developed comply with company quality guidelines and standards.
  • Upload files to the internal system.
  • Execute projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and according to customer requirements.
  • Present and defend ideas to stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Stay up to date with graphic design and multimedia trends, as well as best practices in accessibility.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communication, Design, Cinema, Audiovisual, or related fields.
  • Previous experience as a video editor.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere and After Effects.
  • Technical knowledge of animation techniques and graphic element creation.

Benefits
