Engineer for planning transformer stations at GP JOULE Connect GmbH. Responsible for infrastructure planning and collaboration with operators and service providers.
Responsibilities
Planning and design of transformer stations, including grid connections in low- and medium-voltage systems
Preparation of a bill of quantities and detailed cost estimates for electrical engineering, installation, commissioning and functional testing
On-site inspections of installation sites and documentation of site conditions related to the charging infrastructure concept
Preparation of technical project descriptions for installation services based on CAD drawings
Definition/delineation of installation service scopes in coordination with network operators and installation contractors
Evaluation and review of proposals from external service providers
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or completed training as a master electrician (Elektromeister) or technician specializing in electrical engineering, or equivalent
Professional experience, particularly with medium-voltage switchgear and power distribution systems
Interest in or knowledge of e-mobility or energy systems is an advantage
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering in accordance with applicable VDE standards and guidelines
Proficient in MS Office
Very good communication skills in German
Experience with metering concepts, grid connections, and the installation and commissioning of electrical systems
Willingness to travel for on-site inspections (approximately twice a month, maximum one overnight stay)
Driver's license (Class B)
