About the role

  • Data Scientist amplifying data value at Tracksuit, providing brand tracking insights. Working with cross-functional teams to scale survey operations and maintain data quality.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be applying your data skills to solve problems at the heart of our business model.
  • You’ll have license to run experiments, imagine surveying from first principles, and implement solutions with a product team to build the world’s best survey engine.
  • As you shape the trajectory of Tracksuit, you’ll be able to directly measure your impact and demonstrate your contribution to the business.
  • You’ll have high-level business goals and outcomes, but it’s up to you to define the problems and solutions.
  • Designing machine learning algorithms to optimise survey collection.
  • Running and analysing experiments to improve respondent engagement.
  • Building our survey data quality monitoring system.

Requirements

  • Has 3+ years experience as a Data Scientist
  • Deep understanding of statistics, including both frequentist and Bayesian approaches.
  • Strong fluency in SQL and in scripting languages such as Python and R.
  • (Nice to have) Experience with operational research, experimentation, or classical machine learning
  • You're energized by solving real problems and thrive when exploring new domains
  • You balance statistical rigor with business pragmatism, making smart trade-offs to ship solutions that matter
  • You prioritize your work, drive projects forward, and know when to move fast vs. when to de-risk
  • You find joy communicating technical work in ways that resonate with customers, product partners, and commercial stakeholders
