About the role

  • Advisor assisting and advising the Vice-President of Governance at OACIQ. Coordinating activities and contributing to strategic initiatives for the organization in Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Vice-President, Governance, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist and advise the Vice‑President in the exercise of her responsibilities.
  • The incumbent contributes to the performance of the Vice‑Presidency, notably through input on strategic discussions, leading initiatives and contributing to organizational projects carried out on behalf of the Vice‑Presidency.
  • The Advisor is responsible for advising and supporting the Vice‑President in anticipating, analyzing, monitoring and delivering assigned mandates. The role also includes acting as a representative of the Vice‑President in relationships with various stakeholders and providing logistical support to facilitate coordination and execution of the Vice‑Presidency’s activities.
  • This is a role that involves daily close collaboration and a liaison function with directors and internal partners.

Requirements

  • University degree in law, administration, public policy, governance or another relevant field.
  • Other combinations of education and experience that are considered relevant will be evaluated.
  • Technological literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written).
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a significant asset.
