Responsibilities
Functional and technical consulting in SAP PM/EAM and SAP CS (Customer Service) in the context of implementation, transformation and optimization projects
Analysis of existing maintenance and service processes (e.g., network and asset maintenance, fault clearance processes, meter/point-of-delivery service, technical customer service) and design of target processes
Design and implementation of solutions in Customizing, in particular: notification and order processing in PM/CS, maintenance planning, maintenance plans and strategies, service orders, service contracts and billing of services
Integration of PM/CS processes into adjacent modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, optionally IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities)
Assessment and further development of existing CS landscapes in S/4HANA compatibility mode and design of target architectures based on SAP S/4HANA Service
Support for migration from SAP CS to SAP S/4HANA Service (e.g., process mapping, data and object migration, interface considerations)
Support of tests, migration and go-live as well as support in ongoing operations (2nd-/3rd-level support)
Preparation of functional and technical concepts, documentation and training materials
Conducting workshops and training sessions with business units (network operations, engineering, customer service)
Optional: participation in presales activities, effort estimation and proposal preparation
Requirements
A degree in (business) computer science, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable technical/commercial qualification
Several years of project experience as an SAP PM/EAM consultant, ideally complemented by experience in SAP CS (Customer Service)
Solid know-how in SAP PM/EAM, in particular: functional locations and equipment, notification and order processing, maintenance planning, maintenance plans, maintenance orders, confirmations and reporting
Ideally knowledge in SAP CS: service notifications and service orders, service contracts, warranties and billing of service activities
Understanding of the SAP roadmap for CS (use in compatibility scope and strategic replacement)
Initial or in-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA Service and/or transforming CS processes to S/4HANA Service
Project experience in S/4HANA environments (e.g., simplifications, Fiori apps for maintenance and service)
Ideally experience in the energy supply / municipal utilities sector (e.g., network and asset management, fault management, meter/point-of-delivery service)
Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong team orientation
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; good English skills desirable
