Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize account potential.
Develop new contacts and opportunities within assigned accounts to gain share of wallet through category expansion.
Prospect within assigned region to generate and qualify new leads.
Utilize various channels such as networking, industry events, and referrals to expand reach.
Plan and execute territory coverage efficiently to optimize sales opportunities.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product innovations.
Provide feedback to management on market conditions and customer preferences.
Requirements
3-5 years of outside sales experience within the MRO or industrial supplies industry preferred.
Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations products and the needs of manufacturing or facility management.
Proven success in B2B sales with a strong customer-focused approach.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent time management and territory planning abilities.
Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite for tracking and reporting.
Basic understanding of MRO product lines, including material handling, tools, safety equipment, fasteners, or related supplies.
Knowledge of material handling and industrial maintenance is a plus.
Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
