Lead site-wide continuous improvement projects and coach teams in lean methodologies.
Manage KPIs, cost accounting, SAP testing and production orders to drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Identifying improvement opportunities, developing and managing improvement plans, and leading improvement initiatives in collaboration with process owners
Developing a continuous improvement training program and training and coaching employees on lean and continuous improvement methods to carry out improvement projects
Developing and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and track the impact of improvements in support of company objectives
Conducting problem-solving, root-cause analyses, Gemba walks, KAIZEN events and workshops
Maintaining and further developing the site cost accounting system
Performing SAP activities, including end-to-end regression testing and assessing SAP programming changes, communicating programming changes, and coordinating site-wide rollouts
Triggering production orders
Acting as deputy for the Manufacturing Assistant position during absences
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification with experience in continuous improvement
Production specialist with additional training and extensive experience in Lean management and SAP processes
Three to five years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical skills to analyze problems and develop solutions
Independent, proactive, responsible, quality-conscious and customer-oriented working style
Strong soft skills such as leadership, communication, analytical thinking, critical thinking and problem-solving
Good understanding of and solid knowledge in problem-solving, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement (DMAIC, SMED, Lean Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, 8D)
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
