About the role

  • Lead site-wide continuous improvement projects and coach teams in lean methodologies. Manage KPIs, cost accounting, SAP testing and production orders to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying improvement opportunities, developing and managing improvement plans, and leading improvement initiatives in collaboration with process owners
  • Developing a continuous improvement training program and training and coaching employees on lean and continuous improvement methods to carry out improvement projects
  • Developing and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and track the impact of improvements in support of company objectives
  • Conducting problem-solving, root-cause analyses, Gemba walks, KAIZEN events and workshops
  • Maintaining and further developing the site cost accounting system
  • Performing SAP activities, including end-to-end regression testing and assessing SAP programming changes, communicating programming changes, and coordinating site-wide rollouts
  • Triggering production orders
  • Acting as deputy for the Manufacturing Assistant position during absences

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification with experience in continuous improvement
  • Production specialist with additional training and extensive experience in Lean management and SAP processes
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Independent, proactive, responsible, quality-conscious and customer-oriented working style
  • Strong soft skills such as leadership, communication, analytical thinking, critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Good understanding of and solid knowledge in problem-solving, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement (DMAIC, SMED, Lean Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, 8D)
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
