About the role
- Business Reporting Developer Intern providing controlling and reporting services within Givaudan's Budapest office. Collaborating with teams to develop dashboards and ensure data quality for financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide controlling and reporting services within the Reporting Center to the Finance and Controlling organization globally
- Ensure service execution is in accordance to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations
- Reporting dashboard development and subsequent reporting maintenance
- Partner with the functional area to build a new suite of dashboards to enable a data-driven approach to business partnering
- Develop an enhanced set of KPIs to support the execution of our Strategy
- Prepare systems, load data, check data quality and accuracy
- Ensure necessary master data is maintained and updated for upcoming reporting cycle
- Populate reports and analyses within the agreed SLA
- Perform data adjustments within the reporting application
- Ensure data quality and completeness before sending to the respective Controlling organization
- Escalate major data deviations to management and suggest a solution
- Provide business support on the agreed level
- Perform ad-hoc reporting upon request
- Maintain and develop dashboards to meet customer needs using business intelligence tools
- Prepare data sets and work with systems and databases
- Streamline and automate dashboard refreshes
- Be involved in gathering and translating customer requirements using Design Thinking and Agile approaches
- Document and maintain report requirements in specific documents
Requirements
- Ongoing studies in a Hungarian university in fields related to business, information technology or science
- Fluent English level
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, preferably some experience with reporting applications (BO WebI, BO Analysis, BeX query designer)
- Basic knowledge of SAP BW Hana
- Basic knowledge of VBA macro would be beneficial
- Proven experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools would be beneficial
