About the role
- Strategic buyer handling procurement for large construction projects at GETEC. Driving decarbonization and energy transition with responsibilities in supplier management and SAP.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for procurement and supplier management in large, long-term projects
- Apply project purchasing experience to deliver efficient and cost-effective procurement solutions
- Manage assigned category clusters for technical products
- Monitor product standardization and negotiate framework agreements every two years
- Work closely with project management and technical departments to determine requirements
- Careful contract drafting, supplier communication and proactive risk management to avoid claims
- Use SAP and SAP Ariba for tenders, purchasing processes, contract documentation and supplier evaluations
Requirements
- University degree, ideally in industrial engineering, business administration/economics or mechanical engineering
- Broad and long-standing procurement experience, particularly in category management for indirect spend or capital goods in the industrial sector
- Experience in cost-saving and transformation projects in the energy sector is an advantage
- Good SAP and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills and advanced negotiation capabilities
- High analytical and conceptual skills
- Willingness to travel of approx. 20%
- Negotiation-level language skills in English and either German or Italian are required
