Responsibilities
Support month-end close processes by partnering with Bookings Validation Team to review and validate opportunities in accordance with Genesys policies
Interpret policies and propose judgment on complex deal structures to ensure accurate financial reporting
Respond to ad hoc data requests from internal stakeholders, including Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, and Finance
Analyze performance across key dimensions (e.g., region, sales motion, channel, product mix), leveraging datasets to deliver consistent and scalable insights
Partner cross-functionally to support forecasting accuracy, including pipeline scenario analysis
Contribute to budgeting and long-range planning by providing growth insights
Prepare recurring reporting packages and executive-ready commentary on performance, identifying key trends, variances, and drivers
Translate deal activity into clear, concise narratives for Finance and Sales leadership
Requirements
BS/BA or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or accounting environment
Familiarity with revenue and key SaaS metrics
Naturally empathetic, trustworthy, collaborative, and curious, with a drive for continuous improvement
Thrives in fast-paced, complex environments; able to manage multiple priorities independently with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
Analytical and resourceful communicator who can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights.
Comfortable working with large and occasionally unstructured or incomplete datasets
Demonstrated experience developing financial models and analyzing datasets in Excel
Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar data query and visualization tools preferred
Experience using AI-powered tools for analysis, reporting, or productivity preferred
