About the role

  • DevOps Engineer working on user-centric cloud native products for public sector clients at Gemba. Responsible for deployment, management, and optimization of software services in the public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate deployment and management of software services
  • Optimize availability of systems underpinning those services
  • Build automated infrastructure and processes
  • Create CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
  • Set up operational tooling and observability infrastructure
  • Identify and mitigate security risks
  • Automate and improve development and release processes

Requirements

  • Essential to have an active or recently active DV clearance
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and OpenShift)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Experience with containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
