About the role
- Business Intelligence Architect developing Power BI dashboards and ETL pipelines for Galvion's defense solutions. Focused on secure data architectures and compliance in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, datasets, and data models
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics, operational reporting, and secure data movement
- Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations
- Develop solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake with Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Implement RBAC, sensitivity labels, and Key Vault for secure data access and credential management
- Operate within Gov Cloud and GCC High environments ensuring compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171
- Integrate data between Infor Syteline CSI Cloud ERP, Factory Track MES, and other system
- Collaborate closely with business functions—including operations, engineering, IT, quality, and finance
- Maintain data governance, documentation, and data quality standards
- Support manufacturing intelligence initiatives across multiple sites
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics
- Expert-level experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, row-level security)
- Advanced SQL experience with large datasets and complex joins
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure AD, RBAC, and Key Vault
- Experience implementing Medallion data architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
- ETL tool experience (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Talend, Informatica)
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, Infor)
- Experience with ERP/MES data structures, supply chain systems, and quality systems
- Manufacturing industry experience required
