About the role

  • Data Analyst joining FXC Intelligence to improve core data products through analytics and quality investigation. Collaborating with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Working with large-scale time series data & custom datasets from FXC’s strategic partners and clients
  • Investigate data anomalies to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and/or errors
  • Help improve outlier detection systems and automated data tests
  • Work with FXC Product Managers, Designers and Software Engineers to productionalise successful prototypes
  • Collaborate with excellent Product Managers, Data Scientists, Software Developers and QA Engineers in a friendly, collegial environment

Requirements

  • Work with Python and/or R, SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Work with ML and data analysis packages, such as numpy, pandas, scikit-learn
  • Use statistics (including Bayesian statistics)
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, simplifying the complex whenever necessary
  • Take ownership of your development and approach new challenges with an eager, self-starting attitude
  • Write and speak with clarity, ensuring your message is understood by every audience
  • Experience with AI/LLMs including ChatGPT, Bard, LLaMa (bonus)
  • Familiarity with Javascript (bonus)
  • Experience with team collaboration software (issue tracking, project management, document sharing, etc.) (bonus)
  • Experience working with ETL/ELT workflows, schedulers (Airflow), and event-based triggers (bonus)
