About the role

• Credit Analyst assessing financial data and providing recommendations for SMEs at Funding Societies. Analyze credit applications and support credit-related projects to ensure compliance with strategies.

Responsibilities

• Reading, assessing, analyzing, and interpreting client's credit data, financial statements, and other financial reports of companies.
• Undertake credit appraisal and recommendation for applications.
• Ensure credit review on all applications are in compliance with the company’s credit strategy and policies.
• Conduct industry study and regular update on economic review for the reference of all business units to keep abreast with the fast-changing business landscape and environment.
• Support and participate in credit related projects, system enhancement and process improvement.
• Ad-hoc assignments and other responsibilities delegated by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other equivalent.
• **Fresh graduate up to 2 years of experience** in credit processing and analyst position.
• Experience in handling SME portfolio would be an added advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to speak in other languages or dialects would be added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team to achieve collective goals.
• Familiar with Excel and accounting analysis.
