About the role
- Senior Cyber Security Consultant responsible for developing secure products in various industries. Collaborating with clients to enhance cyber security strategies and processes for product compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of standards-compliant products in the automotive and medical device industries.
- Apply technical and interpersonal skills as a consultant, cyber security engineer, process developer, facilitator/moderator, or coach.
- Conduct gap analyses, reviews, assessments, and audits against regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
- Enable clients to develop cyber-security-critical products by designing and implementing cyber security strategies, processes, and policies.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience in cyber security.
- Knowledge of current cyber security trends and market developments.
- Experience with cyber security methods and concepts such as threat modeling, encryption, and secure communication.
- Familiarity with at least one industry-relevant cyber security standard (e.g., ISO 21434 for automotive or IEC 81001-5-1 for medical devices).
- Business fluent German and English (minimum C1 level in both languages).
- Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in client projects within Germany and abroad.
