- Plan and execute major assignments or multiple concurrent projects, balancing pace, quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Serve as a technical contact on cross-functional projects, coordinating with product, design, and other teams.
- Mentor and uplift the team through code reviews, documentation, guidance, and technical leadership on project delivery.
- Make others better by offering thoughtful technical feedback, contributing to standards, and championing best practices.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript, with strong experience building scalable backend services using Node.js
- Strong proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React and modern web development patterns
- Experience with scalable cloud infrastructure and AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, RDS), CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, modern database systems (SQL or NoSQL), and distributed system challenges
- Ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs between performance, reliability, and speed of delivery
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional partners
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others technically
- Experience with GraphQL, API integrations, feature flagging systems, or server-side rendering frameworks
