About the role
- Summer trainee (Project Engineer) executing ongoing nuclear power projects at Fortum. Supporting project managers while managing design work, supplier relations, and training content development.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the execution of ongoing projects as a summer trainee (Project Engineer)
- Support project managers and perform independently tasks related to the projects
- Project planning and time management
- Coordination of design work and document management
- Supplier management
- Creating a work breakdown structure and time schedules, as well as project progress follow up
- Creating/reviewing Project Management training content and/or implementing training content into Fortum digital learning platform
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles and techniques
- Good knowledge in MS Project will be considered as a plus
- Education in Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management or Energy Technology are considered an advantage
- Organized approach to work tasks. Structured and detail-oriented way of working, and not afraid of routine tasks either.
- Proactiveness, perseverance and effective problem identification and solution skills.
