Responsibilities
Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle
Designing, developing, and maintaining robust systems that support both our planning and trading operations
Helping ensure these systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the constantly evolving needs of our business
Joining agile research & development team at the core of the energy industry, developing tools that empower business teams and accelerate the energy transition
Requirements
1+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development (e.g., C#, Java, Python or similar)
Strong problem-solving mindset, a proactive can-do attitude, and a continuous learning mindset
Experience building and maintaining business-critical applications
Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices
Fluent in English (our working language)
Relevant university-level education in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
Additional Valued Skills: Experience with Machine Learning, Understanding of optimization theory and algorithms, front-end development with modern frameworks like React or Angular, experience managing cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep / ARM templates, familiarity with data streaming concepts, knowledge of security best practices, IAM/CIAM, and integration patterns
