Responsibilities
Aid in driving new technology initiatives and performing Qualitrol’s NPD and Sustaining initiatives.
Work on multiple projects using internal and external resources to deliver quality products that meet customers' needs.
Involved in all facets of development starting from requirements specification, validation, verification, and deployment.
Responsible for product quality and reliability along with feature completion.
Use SAFe Agile development Methods and the Scrum Framework to deliver critical, customer facing, monitoring systems, sensors and solutions for Utilities and Industrial customers.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded systems.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including low-noise signal paths and power management.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, LoRa, RS-485) with experience in integration into new and existing hardware platforms.
Familiarity with sensor integration, including temperature, humidity, pressure, and optical sensors.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, Altium Designer preferred.
Experience with Agile and Scrum framework.
Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of fluid dynamics, thermal dynamics, computational fluid simulation using Ansys, Solid Works or similar would be an advantage.
Experience with firmware-hardware co-design and debugging embedded systems.
Knowledge of designing for compliance (EMC, safety), compliance testing, and product certification processes.
Experience working with global manufacturing partners and contract manufacturers.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
